3. Ohio State 49 | Michigan State 20: Thanks to six touchdown passes from Heisman frontrunner CJ Stroud, the third-ranked Buckeyes rolled to their first conference road win at Spartan Stadium. RB TreVon Henderson had 19 carries for 118 yards and one touchdown and WR Emeka Egbuka had five catches for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Michigan 31 | Indiana 10: Rallying around Running backs coach Mike Hart suffering a seizure on the sidelines, the third-ranked Michigan Wolverines pulled away from a feisty Indiana Hoosiers squad 31–10 in Bloomington. QB J.J. McCarthy completed 28/36 for 304 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
Wisconsin 42 | Northwestern 7: One week after firing lontime head coach Paul Chryst, Jim Leonard helped lead his alma mater to a 42–7 road win in Evanston over the Northwestern Wildcats. Junior QB Graham Mertz completed 20/29 passes for 299 yards and five touchdowns.
Nebraska 14 | Rutgers 13: Thanks to a gutsy and inspired effort from QB Casey Thompson, Nebraska squeezed by a pesky Rutgers Scarlet Knights team, 14–13 in Piscatway. For the game, Thompson completed 24/36 passes for 232 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Purdue 31 | Maryland 29: Thanks to Aidan O’Connell’s360 yards passing and two touchdowns, the Purdue Boilermakers held off a late charge by the home Maryland Terrapins down in College Park.
Illinois 9 | Iowa 6: In a low-scoring affair that had five field goals between both teams, Illinois’ backup kicker Fabrizio Pinton hit a 36-yard field goal with 2:46 left in a road win at Kinnick Stadium.
